Taffeta version for the evening - still the same pattern.

This is Aileen's Petite Fashions version of the dress. The skirt is just a strip of cotton, cut so that stripes are lengthwise - and vertical in the ready-made dress.

You can also use this pattern. It has a wide skirt and a narrow skirt.

It's rather pretty with a circle skirt as well.

I love how the pattern creates like buttons in the front of the bodice.
