I mean, make a wig from corn silk, and a stole from rubber foam and plastic lace doilies... or perhaps don't. :-D

 Here are the pictures from the center... one cannot see them too well, but, alas, that's the best I can do. I don't own this magazine.

The lady in black is wearing the lovely "cottonwood hat and bag" - that is, a woolly hat and bag made of cotton balls...One can see them better on the last page, the black and white photo in the middle.

The other lady is wearing a lovely ensemble made from a glove. The thumb is folded in to make a pocket, but it could become also a lovely purse or perhaps a hat.
